I believe every student deserves access to premium education, meaning there are many ways to reinforce math reading, writing and building Critical thinking skills. I am most passionate about restoring Vocational-technical learning in support to strengthen life skills. I am a professional counselor I have worked side by parents and students and I understand their everyday struggles before the school day begins. I believe in transparency, accountability and integrity when making decisions.I believe in looking at the full picture.and exploring all options but only in the best interest of families. I want to make Detroit public schools.A place where kids look forward to attend school , thus reducing attrition.
My priorities are strengthening literacy and math, expanding career pathways, supporting student mental health, increasing transparency and accountability, and ensuring every student has access to a safe, high-quality education.
